Running out in the Blue kit against our purple brothers, Mark Ave. After a weeks break and a long weekend the boys were desperate to get back into it.

The Frothers needed a win to keep pressure on the top of the table, but a new look Mark ave had different ideas.

First Half

Mark ave were targeting the right wing relentlessly to free the pace of Will Sule. Finally the breakthrough came.

The Frothers were pressing hard for an equaliser. Lance providing a low cross for Salty to level it up.

A perfectly weighted freekick from deep was then floated in by Yarride, finding Evan who channelled his inner Zlatan to magically chip the keeper off the outside of theboot.

The Frothers couldn’t hold onto halftime, however, as a last goal to Mark ave saw it go 2-2 at the break.

Second Half

Mark ave put the foot down early in the second half and scored 3 goals.

The Frothers managed to pull it together, twice setting Yarride up to bring it right back

The boys legs were gone now, however, and Mark Ave were able to score again

Thought the game was still there to be won, the boys couldn’t pull anything out.

Evan had another solid game in the middle of the park, with an audacious goal to top it off.
